The fabric is that buttery-soft, second-skin feel—but it doesn’t lose its shape or feel cheap after a few wears. Most of their pieces use plant-based viscose/modal blends, so they’re breathable, stretchy, and actually hold up.
And the fit is what really sold me.
Nothing feels stiff or overly structured. It just moves with your body and somehow makes everything look a little more accentuated and effortless.
I’ll wear the same set running errands, lounging, or dressed up a bit to go out. I love it!

Yes, it’s a little on the pricier side —BUT LADIES: you get what you pay for!! And I can tell you I have never regretted any pieces that I’ve purchased from them (which is a lot)!

One of the things I appreciate most is the story behind the brand.
Royal Codes is a Bali-based clothing brand, and many of their pieces are handmade there by local artisans.
It was founded by Hartwell Sawyer, who’s not only the founder but also a singer, songwriter, and artist—she’s incredible.
The pieces feel creative and expressive without being loud.
The whole concept behind the brand is pretty simple:
Women shouldn’t have to choose between comfort and feeling sexy.
And that’s exactly what they’ve done well.
What Makes Royal Codes Different From Other Brands
First off, I just honestly have not found another brand that compares. The material + the fit + style + quality is very unique.
A lot of other brands either:

- or don’t actually flatter your body
